Westlock Regional Waste Management Commission operates the Regional Waste management Facility in Westlock County Alberta. It is only 1 hour from the downtown Edmonton hub yet provides the country feel in an agricultural setting. Serving only 12,000 population we take pride in being proactive in the diversion and recycle area of waste management having an on site recycle sorting facility and plastics grinding facility, plus a partnership for a 20,000 tonne compost facility.
