The Westlock Regional Waste Management Commission (WRWMC) is comprised of 2 representatives from the Town of Westlock, 2 from the County of Westlock, and 1 from the Village of Clyde (listed below). The commission does not operate for the purpose of making a profit and is prohibited from distributing any of its surplus to member municipalities. The commission's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provision of responsible and environmentally friendly, solid waste management services to the above municipalities
- Appointment of a Commission Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Regional Landfill site
- Creation and application of appropriate fees for waste disposal services
- Creation of policies and procedures regarding the safe and responsible operation of the Regional Landfill site, including the Regional Waste Recycling Facility

Commission Meetings
Commission meetings are to be held at least 4 times per year with additional special meetings held, as required.
